Welcome to Healing Hands Massage Therapy.
At Healing Hands Massage Therapy, my goal is to provide every client with a peaceful, professional and nurturing experience from the moment they book until the end of their treatment. These Terms & Conditions help ensure appointments run smoothly and create a safe, comfortable environment for everyone.
By booking an appointment, purchasing a gift card or using this website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions together with our Privacy Policy.
Healing Hands Massage Therapy reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version current at the time of your booking or purchase will apply.
Appointments
Appointments are available by prior booking only.
To ensure you receive the full benefit of your treatment, please arrive approximately 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This allows time to relax, complete any required consultation and begin your treatment without feeling rushed.
If you arrive late, your treatment time may need to be shortened so that subsequent appointments are not delayed. The full treatment fee will still apply.
Who Can Receive Treatment
Healing Hands Massage Therapy welcomes clients aged 18 years and over.
Clients aged between 14 and 17 years may receive treatment when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and with written consent provided prior to the appointment.
For your comfort and privacy, appropriate draping is used throughout every treatment. Clients are required to wear underwear during all massage treatments.
Healing Hands Massage Therapy reserves the right to decline or discontinue treatment where it is considered inappropriate or unsafe to proceed.
Your Health & Wellbeing
Your safety is always our priority.
Before your first appointment, you will be asked to complete a confidential health consultation so treatment can be tailored to your individual needs.
Please advise your therapist if you are pregnant or have any medical conditions including, but not limited to:
- Heart conditions
- High or low blood pressure
- Recent surgery
- Injuries
- Allergies
- Skin conditions
- Recent illness
- Any condition that may affect your treatment
If you are uncertain whether massage therapy is suitable for you, we recommend seeking advice from your GP or healthcare practitioner prior to your appointment.
Creating a Peaceful Environment
Healing Hands Massage Therapy has been thoughtfully created as a sanctuary for women—a place to slow down, breathe deeply and reconnect with your wellbeing.
To help preserve this peaceful atmosphere, we kindly ask that:
- Mobile phones remain on silent.
- Food and alcohol are not brought into the studio.
- Clients do not attend appointments under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
- All visitors respect the quiet and relaxing nature of the treatment environment.
Failure to follow these guidelines may result in treatment being declined..
Bookings, Changes & Cancellations
As a small business, every appointment is reserved exclusively for you.
If you need to change or cancel your appointment, we kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
Our cancellation policy is:
24 hours or more – No cancellation fee.
Less than 24 hours – The full treatment fee may be charged.
No Show – The full treatment fee applies.
Where possible, appointments cancelled within the required notice period may be transferred to another available appointment time.
Payments
Healing Hands Massage Therapy is a cashless business.
Payment is required at the time of booking for online appointments.
A 1% credit card processing fee applies to electronic payments.
All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
Prices may change without notice.
Gift Cards
Healing Hands Massage Therapy Gift Cards are a thoughtful way to share the gift of relaxation.
Gift Cards:
- Are valid for 36 months from the date of purchase.
- May be redeemed towards any available massage treatment.
- Are non-refundable.
- Cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Should be treated like cash and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
- Must be presented at the time of redemption.
Where the value of the treatment exceeds the Gift Card balance, the remaining amount is payable using another accepted payment method.
Personal Belongings
While every care is taken, Healing Hands Massage Therapy cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings brought onto the premises.
We recommend leaving valuables at home wherever possible.
Massage Therapy & Liability
Massage therapy is designed to promote relaxation, improve wellbeing and assist with muscle tension and mobility.
As with any manual therapy, some clients may experience temporary tenderness, muscle soreness or fatigue following treatment.
By attending your appointment you acknowledge that:
- You have disclosed any relevant health conditions.
- You understand the nature of massage therapy.
- You voluntarily consent to treatment.
To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, Healing Hands Massage Therapy accepts no liability for injury or loss arising from treatment except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Nothing contained within these Terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Force Majeure
Healing Hands Massage Therapy is not responsible for delays or cancellations resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, power outages, government restrictions or other unforeseen events.
Privacy
Your privacy is important to us.
Personal information collected during the booking process or consultation is handled securely and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By providing your contact details, you consent to receiving communications relating to your appointment, booking confirmations and important service updates.
Website Use
All content contained on this website, including text, images, graphics, branding and design, remains the property of Healing Hands Massage Therapy unless otherwise stated.
Content may not be copied, reproduced or distributed without prior written permission.
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only. Healing Hands Massage Therapy accepts no responsibility for the content or practices of those external websites.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
